Obama's election was about race -- nothing more.

Go ahead. Call me a racist, but I'm going to say it anyway: Obama did not win this election because of his policies, he won because he was black. Plain. And. Simple. Heck, my own husband has even called me a racist for not buying into the liberal "Obama is the Messiah" hype.

But let's be honest here. Most Obama supporters consider whites who speak out in warning of Obama to be racist, so I suppose I'm in good company. Truthfully, though, I couldn't care less about the color of his skin.

His friends, his ideals, and his inexperience were what I cared about during the campaign. It seems, though, that minorities DID care about the color of the candidate's skin. They were more concerned with getting a man of color in the White House than they were about the kind of man he was. I would rather wait a little longer to have a great black president in office then having a scary, mediocre one NOW. But, then again, that's me, so...

I mean really, Obama won 95% of the black vote. And what a black vote it was. More black people registered to voted and acutally showed up at the polls than ever before. Black Panthers blocked polling places in Philadelphia (and probably places like Detroit and Los Angeles, too). Blacks around the country are being shown on TV swinging shirts in the air like they're at a football game and praising the election because "now the president looks like me!" They are treating this like a Civil Rights victory. Historic? Yes. Civil rights victory? No. African Americans aren't barred from holding public office. This isn't about being able to hold office (or use the same bathroom or to sit in the front of the bus). This is about the leadership of our country, the safety and wellbeing of our families.

Ask yourself this: If CNN reported the McCain got 95% of the white vote and that KKK members had been arrested for voter intimidation, what would black America be saying? There would have been riots and the country would be on the verge of another civil war.

Election parties were held AROUND THE WORLD. People in Kenya are STILL celebrating. (You know that Obama's paternal family still live in the slums of the area ... he has shirked them so why are they celebrating him?) Everyone is talking about his "landslide" win.

When it comes to the popular vote (which all the Democrats were preaching about in 2000), it was a very close race. NBC Nightly News just said that Obama won 52% to 48%. That's awfully damned close considering how many NEW voters were registered through groups like A.C.O.R.N. and stated that they voted for the man. Who knows. Had their not been voter intimidation (cough: Black Panthers) in key states, had A.C.O.R.N. been reigned in, McCain could very well be looking forward to moving into the White House come January 2009.

And really, how many of Obama's supporters knew anything about him other than that he was black? Not one supporter that I talked to in person or online was able to tell me what kind of "change" he would bring. Many even refused to believe that both Obama's father and step father were both Muslims or that he had links to terrorists.

Since Obama was named the president elect, conservatives have been told to come together, to unite in support of Obama ... to suck it up, accept defeat, and to do everything we can to help the new regime. Two words for you -- HELL NO. I voted for John McCain for a reason.

Do you remember how the Democrats moaned and groaned when Bush won in 2000? And again in 2004? Were they graceful? Did they EVER "unite" for the greater good under President Bush?

Why on earth would I want to "unite" and support a man who is one of the MOST LIBERAL POLITICIANS to ever enter Washington D.C. Right now on the news, they are talking about how certain groups are rejoicing Obama's win -- abortion rights groups, homosexuals that want to legally marry and even adopt children, and those wanting to legalize prostitution just to name a few.

Come on, Conservative America! Do you really want to unite under someone like Obama?

Who gives a damn if people in Germany or Japan adore him? Who cares if certain groups of minorities and illegal aliens are singing his praises? They are not going to be the ones hit with higher taxes, forced Nationalized healthcare, or having to fork out tax money to pay for some tramp's fifth abortion at Planned Parenthood.

I am absolultey heartbroken that this country has fallen so far. Gone is the true "American Dream." Those who are working their asses off to achieve that dream are going to be penalized and their money snatched to "spread the wealth" to those who are waiting on someone else to lift them out of the slums. They want someone else to pay for their healthcare, their bills, their abortions, their cars, their leisure activities. I would really love to quit my current job and get a job waiting tables so that I can hide my tips from the greedy hands of an Obama administration. Or, using a Michelle Obama analogy, to hide my "piece of the pie" from their socialist hands.

And don't even get me started on his morality. From his shirking of American Troops to the teachings of his church of 20+ years (Google Jeremiah Wright if, for some strange reason, you have no idea about the teachings to which Obama subscribes); from his friendships with the likes of Bill Ayers, Tony Rezko, Bernardine Dohrn (who used to babysit the Obama's kids), and Rashid Khalidi, to his involvement with groups like A.C.O.R.N. and the Woods Fund, Obama is WRONG for our country.

The worst thing, though, is his view on abortion. He was the lone voice AGAINST SB 1095 and the like. Even The Washington Post called him out on it a month ago. (Click here, too.) No wonder NARAL and Planned Parenthood are on cloud nine right now ... any barriers to abortion -- gestational age limits, parental notification, etc. -- will be thrown out the window once he signs the Freedom of Choice Act into law. And his selection of Rahm Emmanuel as his Chief of Staff strengthens that pro-abortion stance.

I'll stop there ... if you want to know more, just click on "NObama" to the right. I've archived all of my arguments and such about Barack there.

I am also scared. Scared for my family, the future of my children, and the safety of this nation. Really, would you have believed it if someone had told you back on September 12, 2001 that, "You know, the next president will be the son of a Muslim and will be named Barack Hussein Obama." How long until we are attacked again? Even Biden fear such an event, hence his "Obama will tested early" comment. How long will it be before he is "tested" ... and where? (Really, Islamic nations loved him... then he appointed Emmanuel. What kind of message do you think that sent?)

In the end, we have to have faith in God to save us. 52% of Americans chose this path for us, a path that God will NOT bless. Obama's preacher stated it correctly. It's no longer, "God Bless America." It's "God Damn America" because that is certainly what He will do. This nation, in Obama's hand, certainly is damned. I am beginning to agree with my father -- Obama could just be the anti-Christ. The 48% of us that stood up and said "NO WE CAN'T!" to this heathen path have to stand together during this time and trust that good will prevail in the end.

In ending, a friend on Facebook put it this way: "Just remember that it takes a Jimmy Carter to Get a Ronald Regan."

Keep the country in your prayers ... we are in for a long four years. God Bless.

Welcome to the era of the new Idi Amin. Consider the similarities: desires to disarm the population, nationalize businesses, and socialize with known terrorists.

How quickly America has forgotten what a Soviet banana line looks like, and why Reagan spent so much building up our military to protect us from it. I bet many medical students and doctors are devastated right now at the prospect of socialized medicine. Their incomes have already taken a hit because of tort lawyers’ campaign to feed on malpractice insurance (thus running up insurance rates), and now stand a chance of becoming even less profitable. If we don’t reward the people who have worked so hard to enter one of the hardest professions, then how can we expect anyone to continue to go to med school or to attract the most capable? The same applies for entrepreneurs and all other areas that require significant training.

I also fear another terrorist attack coming soon as well. Recall that Bush inherited the disaster that ensued when Clinton REFUSED to do anything about Al Qaeda when they attacked the U.S.S. Cole. That’s just one example of Clinton’s failure to proactively stop terrorist attacks. I can’t imagine anyone actually believing we can have an open “dialogue” with terrorists and tyrants. I guess the only person who could possibly believe this is someone who mixes with terrorists themselves. God forbid, if there is a terrorist attack soon, I hope all these people who voted for Obama remember that, since Bush and the once Republican Senate and Congress proactively fought terrorism, we haven’t had an attack in nearly 8 years.

I will never “unite” with Barack Hussein Obama. To do so would be to unite with someone who is vehemently opposed to everything I love about America (and really Christianity in general). Pray for our country, and pray for Israel. They’ve already been attacked by Palestine, and will soon be completely alone in their struggle.

Sorry for the long post...I'm a law student surrounded by liberals with no place to vent. :)
