I hate being fat ...

I weighed 129 pounds the day that I fould out that I was pregnant. Even then I felt a little chubby. (Yes, I gave body issues.) I gained weight quickly during the pregnancy despite the fact that I felt green for the first half of the adventure. At my last OB visit before I delivered the baby, I was right at 180 pounds. I am sure that I gained a pound or two between that final visit and when I was admitted to the hospital.

Well, I stepped on the scale a little while ago, I weighed 168 pounds. So, I've only lost around 12 pounds since the baby was born nearly two weeks ago.

My goal weight is 125. I will give myself until Easter 2009. With me nursing, it'll be hard to lose all this weight (these boobs are huge ... and heavy!), but I will try my best. I thought about joining Weight Watchers, but it's just too expensive. Instead, I think that I might join the local Curves gym. I can put Anna in the Baby Bjorn and hit the treadmill. :D

So it begins. I am going to do this. I want to be wife that my husband finds attractive and a mother that isn't an embarrassment to her children. I want to be healthy and happy.
