... this snotty **insert expletive** at the hospital today. Notice the sign. (These were posted all over the place, by the way!) Look in her right hand.
I am 31 weeks pregnant and was trying to sit down with my four-and-a-half year old (who also happens to have asthma) to eat some lunch while waiting on my husband to come out of surgery. I pointed out the signs to her not one, not twice, but three times, asking her to put that damned cigarette out. She looked at me like I was the devil and continued to talk on her cell phone, stating that, "Oh, they don't care!" when I mentioned that the practice was banned on hospital property. Which proved to be right, as a complaint to the front desk did nothing. We ate in the car ... with the engine running so that we had air blowing on us.
ASS. HOLE.
I do with the government would ban tobacco products. Really. Instead of passing dumb laws requiring legal adults to wear seat belts in cars, they should focus on practices that cost the tax payers millions, if not billions, in health care costs each year and endanger the lives of the innocent (think second-hand smoke).
ARGH.
