Letter of Reference from Dr. Spooner

For one nursing scholarship, I had to ask several people to be references on my application. This is what my Anatomy & Physiology professor over the last two semesters wrote ... I am going to miss having him as a professor!!

To the Nursing Scholarship Committee

To whom it may concern:

This letter is in support of the application of Ms. Pamela XXXXX for a nursing scholarship. Ms. XXXXX was a student in my Human Anatomy and Physiology courses over two semesters. Overall, I would place her in the top twenty students I have taught over 42 years. She was a team leader, always prepared for class and laboratory exercises, voluntarily helped classmates around her with problematic concepts, and sometimes helped me with minor problems that emerged during the conduct of the courses.

Above that, she always projected a positive attitude and helped lighten the atmosphere in a rigorous course. She has well identified goals, and will do what is necessary to attain them. I believe she will become a superior nurse.

Respectfully yours,

Dr. JD Spooner
