A lazy day update

I am being completely lazy. Anna is napping beside me, so I figured I'd play around on the net -- update the blog and the websites, and send some emails. I've been doing laundry today and had forgotten how great Dreft smells ... and how much laundry a person that is smaller than a Thanksgiving turkey can generate!

We were out of town this past weekend, so you'd think that I'd be trying to get the house back in order. I haven't done any real cleaning since the day before the baby was born. We went to see my Dad for his birthday (he turned 54 on Sunday!!) ... we hung out at his house and even took the girls apple picking at a local orchard. We had a blast, but had to leave all too soon. I always get a little sad when it's time to go ...

Bella took apples to school today to give out to her classmates (she was so proud of the apples that she picked by herself!) as well as some fresh apple butter and fresh honey for her teachers. She's so funny ...

We took out the Fall/Halloween decorations and are busy decorating the house. I need to pick up a couple of bails of hay and some pumpkins. I want to make a display with the hay, a scarecrow, some gourds, and a pumpkin "patch" ...

I want something fun and cute ... something that will make for a good photo back drop.

On the other side of the house, I plan to have a spooky grave yard, complete with grave "stones," floating ghosties, and a hand or two sticking out of the ground. I do so love Halloween. It's second only to Christmas.

Well, I need to get a quick shower then head to pick the kiddo up from school. I just wanted to pop on and say "Hi!!"
