Hanna's arms over us; watching Ike

It's raining really good right now. No thunder, lightning, nor gusty winds here yet, but they will arrive eventually. We are thanking God that it appears that Hanna will bypass us. I do keep those along the coast of North Carolina in my prayers. I hope that the storm isn't bad for them, either. I hope that Hanna turns out to be a dud.

We are under a tornado watch. There have been reports of both tornados and water spouts along our coastal area. At least this storm is supposed to be moving by quickly.

Once Hanna is gone, we have to deal with Ike. He's a monster that seems to be heading for the Gulf. He has lost strength (going from a cat. 4 to a cat. 3 'cane) but he's still formidable. It's hard to believe that we have to worry about hurricanes all the way through November!

For the first time in over a month I am praying that I DON'T go into labor. I really can't imagine having to go out in this weather to travel to the hospital.

Well, Bella just told me that she was hungry. Looks like a pizza delivery night. And yes, we'll tip the delivery boy well. Have a safe and happy weekend. GO GATORS!

Plus, I don't want to be in the hospital during a college football Saturday.
