Welp ... we're still waiting

We're still here ... waiting.

Everything is ready for Anna to make her arrival. But she wouldn't be my kid if she weren't stubborn, right? I had my biweekly OB visit today. My cervix has remained unchanged, but the baby is "very low." Trust me, I knew that. I have hit the 165 pound mark, too. Hooray. We're measuring 33 to 331/2 weeks along. My OB wanted me to make it to the 34 week mark at least ... looks like Anna is complying. I'm serving the eviction notice soon, though. I've talked the docs into letting me return to work a couple of nights a week. They only approved 10 hours a week, but that will do for now. I am trying to walk more and pretty soon Andy is going to become a stud horse because I'm gonna make him perform, too. I'll do all the old wives' tricks... exept the Castor Oil. I can't stomach that stuff.

My back hurts from the weight of carrying this belly around. My sides hurt. My bladder is the size of a walnut. I can't seem to catch my breath, either. I am miserable. I feel like I've reached the size of a small whale.

Anyway, I just wanted to check in and let everyone know that we're still here, that nothing's happened yet. Now I'm going to log off, settle in with "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" and a bowl of fresh raspberries.

Have a lovely evening!
